IE Business School´s MBA ranked No. 3 in Europe and no. 8 in the world by the Financial Times

Madrid, January 31, 2011. The MBA International IE Business School is no. 3 in Europe and the world according to the latest ranking Financial Times, no. 8 MBA programs. The result of this last classification further consolidates IE Business School International MBA as the best in Spain.

The ranking also places IE Business School as school No. 4 in the world in terms of career graduates progress. When it comes to employment prospects, 91% of IE MBA graduates find work within 3 months after the completion of the program. Students in the program is clearly international with international students from 87% in 75 countries, making IE the level of diversity among the highest in the world. The global Outlook of the school continues to increase with the launch of new programmes such as the MBA of IE-Brown, a joint program led by IE Business School and l ' Université Brown adapted to professionals with more than 10 years of experience. The IE Brown Executive MBA is defined which will begin in March 2011 and will combine sessions in line with 5 residential periods in Madrid and in Providence (United States).

The classification of the Financial Times has 21 categories which refer to the institution and former students. They include data such as the scope of each school and its programs, which are consistent with expectations, wages weighted alumni, three years after the graduation, the percentage of women teachers and students, the percentage of international faculty and faculty holds a Ph.d. and the levels of research.
